We are independent
Our principal surveyor and founder, Martin Shortt AssocRICS, is a former Engineering Officer of the Royal Navy. In 2015, Martin undertook a Master of Science degree in Real Estate and subsequently worked with several surveying firms within the industry. Martin recognised that in order to provide the level of service he believes purchasers should be receiving there was a need to create something different and personal.
In establishing ‘Future Home Surveys’ our focus is on quality and customer service. We are committed to providing professional reports tailored to the individual property and your requirements. There are no sales targets for our surveyors to meet, meaning that we undertake thorough detailed surveys and considered reports each and every time for our clients.
We are local
Martin and his family live on the Shropshire – Mid Wales border. His childhood was spent exploring the beautiful countryside and vibrant market towns. He now has several years of experience as a residential surveyor working throughout the area.
We cover Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Telford, Market Drayton, Wrexham, Oswestry, Welshpool, Newtown and all areas in between.
Pre and Post-survey consultation
We encourage direct communication with the surveyor prior to any survey ensuring that your requirements are fully understood and the right survey is selected.
You will have the opportunity to speak with the surveyor post survey and following receipt of the report to discuss the findings and recommendations.
